Subject: RE: So has all the talk of 250-300 bpa died out in Ill.?

Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow
It seems to me that Ill. was the only place they were really bragging about yield. Everybody else was more cautious. Without Ill, Ind. and Iowa it might be hard to make that 172. 172 is 14 bushel away from last year's 158 and there was some pretty good corn out that way. If you look at Southermnman chart and Jon's analysis below you see that only 2004 was higher at 15.4 and 2009 was only 11.5, both considered pretty good years.
