Feeder prices were to cheap for years. There were years one could buy as cheap as he could of raised them. No wonder there a calf shortage. Doesn't matter to the people feeding what the calf price is as long as there is a margin at the end. The idea of feeding these high dollar calves with no margin so you bet on the come...... kind of scary.
