He had the FIRST auto tie baler in the area. I have seen his record books from that time. That is what he charged and farmers where happy to pay that. The kids had just got home from WW2 and many had left the farm, so free labor was short.
Many tractors in the last few years have been bought with cash. And they cost a whole lot more than that Super M.
Anyone collect old balers?
