Subject: RE: store sunflower seeds

Beaver Dam, WI
I want to add some diversity to the mix a little and I just want to try another seed to test. I was at a conference somewhere on cover crops and it was mentioned to throw in some sunflowers from the store. I know they grow under the bird feeders but I didn't want to spread them out in filed if 1 in 100 grew. I don't know if anything in the sunflower harvest process affects the seed from germination. Example I always think of is drying corn through a dryer.

Other than that nothing really special.
