C'mon man..I go to lengths to answer every question. I like to wait till Chipie get done with his tour, and then I dial it in with temp data.

Reason so high this year--easy--all you have to do is look at a precip and temp data from the last couple months to know this crop will be huge. I also have a great number of contacts in about every major production state that I rely on. Usually take crop ratings with a grain of salt, but also pay attention to them. Crop was planted on time and sure had early rains for some in WCB, but those east of the MISS in 90% of locations have been darn perfect.

Crop ratings this high this late in the year are typical of big yields. In fact, I'm not sure if a crop rating has ever been this high this late in the year and have never been above trend by at least 10 bushel.

Your right--its somewhat all guessing at this point--but an educated one at that. Stay tuned.
