Texas/New Mexico Stateline | Generally I am just glad I didn't have to cook it. I hate cooking, and ate my own for about 6 years of bachelorhood before I got married.
Very few foods I refuse to eat, but there are some I don't like.
I don't like dark greens that much. Not a big fan of bell peppers, but do like chili peppers as long as they are mild/medium. I will eat green beans and cooked broccoli. I've eaten so many green beans growing up I just have gotten tired of them. Lettuce tastes like weeds, drown it in dressing to make it palatable. Everybody thinks I am crazy but I do NOT like watermelon. I have tried it dozens of times through the years and I just can't stand it.
I don't care for wild game of any kind. Give me good old factory farmed domesticated meats. Or home raised beef even better.
I hate chewing gum. I don't like hard candies, like suckers or jaw breakers, etc. I love chocolates and most chewy kinds of candy. I like most sodas, but we drink them in moderation. 1 or 2 a week in hot weather, one a month in the winter.
I love all "traditional" American foods, Mexican food, Italian, all different pizzas, BBQ, all kinds of breakfast foods. Most fruits I will eat, but I don't really seek them out. I do kinda like prunes of all things. |
