Subject: Question on updated, lower 9 tooth cornhead sprocket

Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

I just got some of my parts in for updating and modifying an older JD 40 series cornhead.

I'm doing the slowdown gather chain kit, these newer sprockets require grease (thru the center) and I bought that bushing with zerq, from john deere parts. It looks to me that there are two very little holes, in these newer idlers, that I assume, are "grease oulet" ports. (see photo)

If so, I will to find a different diameter washer, to "lift" these newer sprockets, off of my current "straps", because this new design, set the sprocket teeth quite a bit lower than my old, SEALED bearing style 8 tooth idler.

THANKS
