pasture hay maybe could be bought cheaper, maybe, but not right now, I've been selling crp and pasture hay lately for $100+ per ton and alfalfa/grass for $150-200 a ton, I'm guessing he is better off making his own.(better return on established alfalfa last year and this year than corn).
How would you run this?
