southernmnman - 7/11/2014 19:56 We are in the prairie pothole region, there's tile here that older then your grandfather or maybe your great grandfather. Those spots have been tiled over and over again along with farms being pattern tiled. Dare I say that you would of seen stand pipes or French drains once the water left the holes. Unfortunately we had multiple rainfall events of high rates, there isn't a drainage system designed to handle the flow and I am including the county ditch systems and the rivers including the Mississippi . Natures design kept the water here , we want it gone as fast as possible.
