Ottawa Valley, Eastern Ontario | Looking at a White 2-60 with approx 5700 hours. I will be using it 50-100 hours/year for doing little jobs around my small farm. Currently don't have a tractor and I am getting tired of borrowing or renting. The tractor seems in reasonable shape and the loader works good. The 3-point hitch seems to go up and down slowly. Is this a potential big problem or is there a simple way to rectify that? Probably can get it for less than $10,000, so we not talking big dollars. I would like something newer but I have a hard time justifying $20-25,000 for a tractor that will not get a lot of use. There is also an International 784 4wd with a loader for sale 4 hours away(asking $12,500) that looks ok too but I don't know much about those older Internationals. We had a White 2-60 at home years ago and it was a very reliable tractor.Looking for any advice. Thanks
