Wi | W250-CTD - 7/9/2014 18:00 In 05 or 06 they started use large head bolts and change something with the turbo, those are the ones I would look for. Basically every Diesel has some type of problem area its just which one do you like or are willing to fix. Most of the problem are because people don't take care of them like the should (change/check oils, change coolant, ext)
On the 6.0 the oil/coolant could be an issue but otherwise many of the problems on all light duty diesels are tough to blame on the owner. Many times the owners actions can influence the problem but enough of those times its due to lack of poor instruction by dealer, or owners manual or simply a bad design to begin with. |
