X2 for the hot water and also soft water I would add. I added a water softner to a 13 hp 3500# 4 gpm cold unit and liked it, I switched to a 30003 4 gpm electric propane fired hotsy and love it. I should, it cost more than a new 4020 did in 67. Dad would flip!
Yeah, I think mine was 6,000 or better but I put it inside the shop on top of the bathroom so no one could get to it and "work on it". The last one that was outside when in use, pulled inside when not lasted 20 years so if I get 20-25 out of this one I'll be good. I also put a 100' hose on a real and have a switch on the wall for on/off, heat and soap. Have two kinds soap in 55 gallon barrels that I can turn a knob to select. |
