Morris, IL | If you can adjust the vacuum with tractor and you can turn it almost down to nothing, then up little at a time but it just stops at some point i'd bet that is your problem. We run our JD Vacuum planter on a CIH 8940 so found out real quick there was orifice in that line. The way 8940 system is plumbed when it gets to max for the orifice system goes into high pressure and kicks all other functions off so really screws you up. I took our valve out and haven't looked back. I just try and make sure i don't really "jerk" it around and try to start and stop at slow speed, use float to shut off. Haven't had any trouble in 4-5 years now.
