When dad bough his land. It is a light land. The old owner had 100 acres broke and bare, nothing growing, trying to summer fallow. But by doing this all the top(or most) blew away. Dad said the first thing he had to do was get something growing, even if its weeds to hold the last bit of top soil in place.
