So what are your thoughts on continuous no-till or strip till silage. WHat is the alfalfa doing that the corn doesn't.


Alfalfa is a perennial plant and it holds soil better and achieves better structure than corn or soybeans. That is about what I can explain. As long as you replace the fertility with alfalfa, you should be achieving better soil structure
