In all honesty I think the 1600A I had was jinxed. It had a new tongue on it when I  bought it when it was a year old . The sale I bought it at was because the dealer was killed in a fork lift accident at his store and after I traded it off the farmer that bought had a tornado hit his farm and drop his machine shed on it.  We put up mostly brome and praire hay and a disc mower is the best machine for that, I can cut half again faster with out fear of plugging it up, my biggest issue was where the two sickles overlapped.
