In Western Australia ,we grow lupins.. They are so abrasive ,tough to feed,bend slats on feederhouse chain. The two chain feederhouse ,really struggled to feed them.. Combined with sand,it would chew out the rotor cone.. You never ever see a 4000 hr plus axial flow in a dealership yard.. They have cracked and worn paper thin.. But having said all that ,the 1688,2188,2388,one very simple reliable machine,when looked after ..
