Manitoba | I realize this will vary depending on operator and how machine is used and crops and conditions but wondering at what hours of use most axial flows (thinking 1680/1688/2388) will be at the point of needing some serious money reinvested to keep them in good shape. things like having rotor replaced, cone etc. I'm not scared to do the work (replaced rotor in our 1680 this last year and it went well) but just trying to come up with what is an equivalent price for say a machine with very low hours vs one that is cheaper but with more use. as in I'd be willing to pay X amount more for the same machine since it has 1/2 the hours of another. hope that makes sense. thanks for the help. |
