| In 1968 (that's 46 years ago), the Feds and J. Edgar Hoover were keeping close tabs (spying) on anybody and everybody who who was demonstratively opposed to the Vietnam war, so no, that concept didn't seem all that crazy back then. Regarding Food Safety, after 70 some years the topic is probably due for some "modernization." If everyone sucks it up and crosses their T's, and dot's their I's, they can most likely survive the change, prosper, and rest easy knowing the rules won't be revisited until some time after they're pushing up daisies. And gosh, there might even be some good come from it. |
