Here's how I always answer this question with another question. How far do you want the center of the tractor to move over for the next pass. 24 x 30 = 720" or 60'.
Here's the hard way to do it: From end to end your planter is probably 23 x 30" = 690". Then 690" + 15" (left gap) + 15" (right gap) = 720".
