I believe it takes both of us to get food to the food chain. I am sure processing plants are not built for free and they are not giving away combines. As far as subsidy programs, crop ins., etc., that could use some redoing. The first looser when that takes place is the landlord receiving large amounts for rent because I have a guaranteed income. (After all, land is the only cost of production that is negotiated. Everything else is predetermined, this is the cost, that's what you pay if you want it.}  At least the farmer is a tax payer and not just collecting and not contributing like 48% of America does. IMA.
