And it is quiet, it cleans out and you don't have a frozen chunk of corn/beans in the tub, it is easier to set up and tear down, you don't have to tarp around it so the auger won't splatter it all over the place, you can use a 10 inch conveyor to take grain from a 10 inch horizontal under-bin screw, they take less power, gentler on seed beans, loads the bulk seed tender safely.  I could probably come up with more...

Only drawbacks I know of is cold weather you need to let them warm up and coons love them.  Make sure you run it BEFORE putting the truck under or you may have a friend or two in the hopper.  Positives far outweigh the negatives in this guy's opinion. 

 

In the Spring, our COOP's belt conveyor, for seed tenders, must be checked for bird's nest, every morning = always has a new nest inside.
