Subject: Re: shutting the engine off

I have run into a couple of exceptions. I once had a friend that had a big cam 4 350. I always told him to shut it off and save fuel. He always told me it didn't matter. Well he broke his leg and I drove it for a while. I ran it one week shutting off and the next it ran from the time it left until it got home. Absolutely no mileage difference. After that I was always warm when I drove his truck and didn't feel bad about it!
