| On the right side (looking in from the front) of the high pressure oil pump is a oil pressure regulator solenoid. This pump is located in the valley bolted to the rear of the timing cover. The solenoid looks like the ones used on a meyers snow plow lift. As it wears it sticks and dumps pressure to to pan which shuts down the injectors. To test after shut down place a 12" length of flat stock against the coil of solenoid and tap lightly with a hammer. Then crank engine to start. If it starts carry the tools along for the next time. After a few "resets" I replace the regulator assy. . EDIT- sorry I been diesel for so long I didn't get the gasser part till just now. Good advice just not right now!
