Near Richmond, IN | I had something similar but on an older F250. It would fire and immediately die. Fuel pump wouldn't run once it fired. Finally found out it was a bad ignition switch. If I turned it to start and then instead of releasing the switch, just let it back off just slightly, it would keep running but when I released the switch then if failed to make contact to keep the fuel pump going. The old switch just fell apart when I took it out. This was on 1 1988 F250 but only has about 100K miles on it. | |
