Subject: Re: TIlling in Il

Dennison, IL
Our goal in East Central Illinois on silt loam soil is to stay around 2' of depth. We don't have any problems with crushing it, knock on wood. We Just stay off of it until it settles, or when it's very wet. We install laterals from 15'to 40'. Most generally we run them at 30'. If you go over 3' deep, the water is very slow about finding the tile. "Here"
