Subject: 7810 or 8100

I have to get some opinions on which tractor you guys would go with. The two tractors are 1996 8100 with 4900 hours. Good condition with tires at 90%. The other tractor is a 1998 7810 with 5400 hours and tires at 75%. This tractor is from a neighbor that brought it into the local Deere shop every winter and told them to fix whatever it needed done. This has the deluxe cab with power shift.
The 8100 has a price of 72,500 and the 7810 has a price of 82,500. The 7810 is already with autosteer. I do not know the history of the 8100. It is at a different dealer and usually is higher priced than other Deere dealers so I am wondering if there is a reason for the difference. I know that putting the autosteer in is not cheap. I will be using it for planting and spraying and on the grain cart.
I realize we are comparing apples to oranges and would like your comments.
Thanks
Rod
