Subject: RE: Plowing speed

I was always taught look at what your neighbours have. I was also taught don't be in a rush to buy equipment, just like buying a new truck. Research is key. Where I am alot of people use Kneverland or Salford. We pull a 6 furrow Kneverland with an 8910 Magnum. We find that way if it's too frozen, we can't pull it and do any damage. Neighbours pull 6 furrow Kneverland with an MX255, he says they're usually breaking the plow as that tractor doesn't even feel the plow behind it. We have frost here now, but I'm hoping some rain last night will allow me to finish one farm.
