8600-small truck, just fine for short haul seasonal farm use. 9200-bigger truck, short hood, set back front axle, usually small motor like M11. 9300- big truck, long hood, long wheelbase, usually bigger motors. 9400- big truck, short hood, set back front axle, bigger motors like N14. to put it in a very broad nutshell.



That what I have been told before, as far as I know the i was added to the end around 2000 and newer, atleast that what it seemed like when I was looking at trucks.
