I'm not sure exactly where the "best fit" line would end up, but I know that 2 tenths would've fit before I had to readjust, so I am comfortable using that number. I figure the extra head pressure should keep the tile from silting. I have been adding a lot of laterals and the places I have found silt in the old concrete mains has been where there was a washout, a rodent, or near the end of the line where there was not a lot of water flow (I found some silt in the bottom of a 6" line about 50 feet from where it ended- my theory is that it was so oversized in that area that there was never enough water to wash it out).
