Hey Paul, if your old Lincoln is the 12V like mine there's a simple fix to the battery problem. I took an old extension cord that had been chewed up towards one end and wired it to the battery contacts in the gun then put gator clips on the other end. I clip it on the tractor battery and have about 30ft of 16/18 gauge chord and can reach everything on my implements. Works well for me.
