| If you do use your rotor combine it is best to drop straw later in the day or at night. I baled a quarter of wheat straw for my neighbour a few years ago. He runs a jd 9770, he started combining the crop at 4pm and there I was getting 3 bales to the half mile. He combined till 3am and I was getting 9 bales to the half mile there because it wasn't getting chewed up as bad. If you can go late and drop out of your rotor you will do fine. | |
