Subject: Oat straw through a rotor combine.

Henry S.Dak.

I have a few hundred acres of oats and intend to bale the straw. Will I be losing a real signifigant amount of straw using a rotor combine vs hiring a swather and conventional combine? If so, how much, or enough to offset the cost of hiring the swathing and conventional machine?

Just looking for opinions and ideas.
