Subject: Cover Crop Help- Dakon Radish

I have purchased some Dakon Radishes for approx 100 acres of Prevent Plant ground, I am looking at planting 8-10 lbs per acre. Last fall 2012 I had my P, K, and Nitrogen w/ N-Serve applied. I am using radishes to keep and scavenge as much fertilizer value as I can. I have heard lots of different opinions though on how to get this done like; when to plant? how to plant? (floater, air seeder, dug in, drug in), should anything be mixed in with them?. ALSO fall tillage? Some have told me leave them and the foliage and tubular will rot enough for one pass with the field cult in the spring. I am in South Central MN with thick black soil, pretty well drained. If I'm going to spend the money on the radishes I want to do it right and make the most out of it. Let me know your thoughts or experiences with this. TIA!!!
