I tried cereal rye in bean stubble last year ahead of corn. For me cereal rye was a lot easier to kill than the annual rye that is in the mix I do following wheat. I had pretty good luck with it and will probably try it again. This year I might try to fly it on into standing corn as a cover before next years beans.
