Subject: Covercrop ahead of corn... to stablize soil

What would be the best covercrop to seed in the fall, ahead of corn, to help prevent erosion? I like what the Rye's do, but am very afraid of having them ahead of corn. Most likely seed directly after bean harvest. Some probably later, because of field structure work. But some possible by air in standing crop
