ne nebraska
Saw a side by side last summer. One hybrid was rolling a good portion of the summer, the other, not so much. The hybrid that rolled all summer long did 8 bu/ac better across the whole field, according to yield monitor. This was only 70 bu corn as we were in a drought last year, but that is still 10%. So yes, some hybrids roll much easier than others. Will it yield more or less, could go either way is what I say, depending on when the relief finally comes for the plant.
