Central Iowa

Beans have a lot more "give" than corn and you can cultivate very tall soybeans with little damage. I like to do my second cultivation when there is still enough room so that my tires lightly brush the bean leaves, although I have cutlivated much taller beans.

I am just now cultivating my ridge till beans the first time and taking out large waterhemp that my Roundup burndown didn't kill. I am normally ridging beans this time of year.
