I can't imagine why the Chinese would want to own it. Lots of headaches in that business, and do they really think that Smithfield is raking them over the coals on the pork that they are currently selling them? Doubtful imo. I think Smithfield will be glad to get rid of it if the deal does go through, and I think it might. Everything else is for sale in the country.
