The Smithfield deal is brought to you by the same folks that hack into the Pentagon and anything else they can. 

Can an American company go into China and buy up a major corporation? Not likely.

This is just the tip of the iceberg though in all the money we send to China coming back to buy up the USA...if we let them.

Money also buys lobbyists to get the deal through.

Perhaps someday we will start acting in our own best LONG TERM interests.
