Depends on the brand of ATV. I have the best luck using strips of the same material as is broken. Local dealer gives me broken plastic he has replaced and I get plastic for vehicles from a body shop. It has turned into a profitable hobby. You may want a better welder but if you use a heat gun in front of the harbor freight one it will do a decent job.
