Mid Michigan | Our yields were average for us. Prices were very good so it seemed like a good year. We had the hottest driest summer ever. Was miserable for over a month. Windstorm had lots of cleanup around here for broken trees. Did a lot of hand hoeing in bean fields. Then right at the end of harvest it started to get wet and I'm glad we're done. Nothing broke that we couldn't fix and no major disasters. On a scale of 1-10 our year was probably a 7 or 8 because the prices were good. This was michigan. | |
