Our farm is a part of the Quaker lots that William Penn gave the Quaker's around here (Nottingham lots) . Used to be in Pennsylvania, but William Penn lost the property line dispute with either Lord Baltimore or Lord Calvert, not sure which one it was. Mason Dixon line is just north of us. A road along our farm used to be the main road between Baltimore and Philadelphia during revolutionary war times. George Washington supposedly slept under a tree along that road near here.
