I've had no trouble with my MX255 except for an oil leak once. The tractor I sold when I bought the 255 was a 8940. I probably should have kept the 8940 it dynoed 275 wiyhout ever doing anything to it. The 255 seemed under powered; this fall I put a programmer on it, it's around 280HP now. That really woke it up.
What to look for if buying a MX270?
