Paxton, IL | I own an MX255 (the next generation after the 240/270 but still very much the same tractor) It's very nice when everything is working, but the problem is a lot of times things were not. I'm hopeful that I've got the bugs worked out now and I actually feel pretty good about the tractor, but if I were to go back in time, I would stop myself from buying it and get either a 245/275 or one of the smaller ones that still had the mechanical pump.
the CAPS inject pump was the only big thing that's gone wrong with it, but it just kept having small problems constantly (I'd say it would nickel and dime you to death, but we all know nothing on these tractors, or anything today for that matter, is nickel and dime stuff) | |
