One of this guy's contentions is that there is some sort of substance that is narcotic like, in this "modern wheat" that is causing us, on average, to consume and additional 440 calories a day.
I am not sure I buy this. I think it is all the "super sizing" and larger portions that we are eating that is giving us the additional calories. That plus we have become a nation of "recreational eaters".
