Formerly NE North Dakota, now NW MN | I agree that Argentina is worth paying attention too, but Brazil does not seem like a threat to world production yet. If La Nina' is confirmed, and there's a bunch of stories coming out of Brazil about dryness... maybe.
This year we've seen how tough soybeans can be in the face of dryness, and in MG and MGDS, they can get "catch up" rains really fast.
Course.... their soil's water-holding capacity is quite a bit less than NA (way over-generalizing here... but... whatever)... so if they do stay dry....
