Subject: Dynaco vintage audio

Western Oregon
Perhaps this should go into machinery talk. I'm thinking probably not the "precision" forum. (Inside joke)
Last year I asked about Dynaco A-25 speakers and found a few folks who were interested. Being a bit of an obsessive type, I have acquired a few more items.
Since my budget for acquiring HiFi is free or close to it there have been some issues.
Anyone have any experience recapping vintage audio?
Anyone know anything about the ST-120, SCA-80 integrated amp? PAS-2 tube pre-amp?
Or why my SCA-80 pops when I shut it down. Is it the power supply or due to the way they have capacitors on the output setup.
You have to understand I am a crescent wrench and vice-grip mechanic and have no business at all with things that collectors pay money for. (should you question this do a search for "an affront to German engineering)
Thanks for any comments.
