I will try to take some pictures of mine this week end.
If you did it as I described, and are worried about trees hitting the pipe, drive the guard rails in at a angle, and closer together. if you have track hoe, it should be able to drive guard rail (on end) in deep enough to stay there.

Cleaning the plastic well casing is tremendously easier than cleaning the wire screen. I wouldn't consider anything other than the plastic perforated casing. Only other choice would be a "river Screen" and not sure how to use one of those on a turbine pump. have some neighbors that use a river screen to pump into a pond that they pump out of with turbine pumps.


if you have 2 to 3 ft of depth, I would guess you would not have to clean the suction pipe much if any. my suction pipe starts out about 2 ft under water and have the far end (top) about level with the water.
