Can you post pics of your setup?
My setup is being used in lakes in the KC area with success. My concern is algea but at 2-3 depth, cleaning shouldnt be a problem. The creek is mostly spring feed and is relatively clean.
Another concern is flooding and the effect on the intake pipe. Floating trees will wreck havoc on the pipe. The well head is out of the flood level.
